ART is evidenced-based in the treatment of symptoms related to: PTSD, depression and anxiety. It can be effective for: grief, work-related stress, addictions, relationship issues, codependency, etc.

ART is not the same as Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) although both therapies utilize eye movements. The brain, while focusing on a problem and using eye movements at the same time, makes new connections with an individual's strengths and problem-solving abilities.

You are in complete control of the therapy and are not hypnotized. In fact, we speak throughout the session.

Disturbing images, emotions and physical sensations will be processed by using eye movements so that they disappear and positive images, emotions and sensations can be enhanced.

This therapy can have a calming effect and you may notice you are more relaxed and better able to problem solve following a session.
